Quality grown heifers and cows dearer

The cow market continues to remain strong with another increase today. A single Shorthorn cow sold on account Calrossy School made just under $2650 and the best pen of cows made just under $2400 in a market quoted by the NLRS up to 7c/kg dearer than last week. Quality grown heifers also sold very well with a top price just under $2200. Top price in the steers was just under $2500 for Angus steers.
Black baldy steers sold by Davidsson Cameron on account Ennis Family Trust made 385c/kg and averaged 520kg/$2005. The straight Angus made 414c/kg and averaged 537kg/$2226
