Heavy heifers and cows up to 20c/kg dearer

Another strong market for females today with heavy heifers and cows quoted up to 20c/kg dearer. A standout was a pen of Angus cows sold by McCulloch Agencies on account B & K Marshall.

MCA agent, Scott Bremner said “I’ve drafted a few pens of cows in my day, but I don’t think I’ve drafted any better than these.” They averaged a whopping 709kg to return $2563/head.  MCA also sold the top $/head pen of steers.
