New season lambs sell to $235, heavyweight to $242

The National Livestock Reporting Service (NLRS)  reported best results for different ends of the weight scale today with heavy young lambs and light older lambs to restock quoted as dearer. The best new season lambs sold to $235, with several vendors making over $200. The best extra heavy lambs sold to $242, compared to $260 last week.

Don’t forget, it’s only 2 weeks now until our 2024 Spring Lamb Show and Feature Show on Monday 2nd September with over $4000 in total prize money including $500 for the winning pen in each category and $250 for the runner up. Contact your preferred agent to book in your lambs.
