Cow prices climb towards 300c/kg

The cow market continued to climb closer to 300c/kg today, after last week’s gains of up to 40c/kg, with Angus cows topping the category today at 297c/kg. The big increases saw three different vendors smashed $2000/head for their cows. The NLRS also quoted strong gains for weaner steers (up to 20c/kg), well finished young cattle and well finished grown steers and heifers.
