What goes up (unfortunately) must come down

Extra heavy lambs sold to $245 today in a market described by the National Livestock Reporting Service (NLRS) as “generally cheaper” for lambs to process after a big jump in prices last week, proving one buyers’ comment that “one week is a long time in markets”. On the upside, plainer condition and secondary lambs were less affected by the price variations.

The Williams family, Uralla sold a draft of 138 crossbred lambs for $165 and 300 Merino wethers for $92.
