Re-stocker lambs achieve best results

Monday 29th July

The best results today were for restocker lambs that saw a dearer market thanks to competition. Ian Morgan Livestock offered approximately 480 Merino ewes ranging in age from  3-6 years as part of the advertised Taroona flock dispersal. They were described as fine wool producers with Leesham Merino blood and scanned safely in lamb to White Suffolk and Poll Merino rams to commence lambing late August. They sold to $86 and averaged $60/head.
